Bitterzoetchocolade.be (Bittersweet chocolate in English) is a Belgian based origin chocolate shop run by Isabelle Quireynen.
Isabelle is very active in the chocolate world, as she organises tastings and is a Belgian wholesale contact for Cacaosuyo and a wide array of fine chocolate brands in combination with El Sauco – a large origin chocolate importer based in Wageningen – The Netherlands.
But Isabelle also gives the public the chance to buy these wonderful bars directly through her webshop.

Bitterzoetchocolade offers a nice selection of brands with classic brands such as Marou, Akesson’s, Pralus and Original Beans. But she also offers rarer brands such as Dolceria Bonajuto (a Sicilian chocolate maker), Blanxart (Spain) and Menakao (Madagascar).
When you choose a brand, the menu clicks open and reveals more info on the chocolate maker and the available bars with a short flavor note description. The selection procedure might take a moment to get used to, but don’t let this hold you back. There is so much beautiful chocolate to be discovered.

Especially interesting is the fact that Bitterzoetchocolade.be also offers chocolate subscriptions. You don’t have to choose but receive a surprise selection of bars. A one time delivery or as a monthly delivery during a quarter/half or full year.
Next to the shop part, you also find more information on the tasting sessions she organises and bussiness to bussiness services she offers. You can catch up with Isabelle during chocolate related events such as Salon Du Chocolat Brussels and Origin Chocolate Event in Amsterdam.
Grab your chance to get hold of some special chocolate she has on offer!
